Season 1, Episode 8: November's issue, now available
I don't know about anyone else, but the fall season is my favorite time of the year. A warm fireplace, baked goods, Thanksgiving, and wonderful colors. There's nothing quite like cozying up under a blanket with a good book...or a good magazine. Fortunately for you, the folks here at Bastion have you covered.
I like to talk about themes a lot, and it's something I think about when balancing out each issue. This month revolves around people, and choices. November's stories take a really fascinating look at how different people make decisions, what situations press them into those decisions, and the consequences of those. Fall is the season of change, after all. I think you'll find that this month's issue is particularly fitting.
This month features the following:
“Good Times” by Alexander Jones
“The Ticket-Taker” by CJ Menart
“Us or Them” by B. Brooks
“The Vestal” by Rob Steiner
“Playing in the Skeleton on Riot Day” by Jedd Cole
“Mayhem at Manville” by Michael Andre-Driussi
"Shenzhen Blues" by Spencer Wightman
You can read our featured story, "Shenzhen Blues," (and why would you stop there?) right here. Naturally, our authors and staff love connecting with readers, so if you'd like to send your thoughts along, you're more than welcome to either reach out to us on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, or if you're the shy type, send us a note at email@example.com. Stay cozy.
